What we solve

The technical questions that matter before the quote.

In metalworking every second of the cycle counts, but without readable diagnostics and safety the gain is lost in downtime and restarts.

01

Unstable cycle times

Sequences, sensors, axes and enables are organised to make the machine rhythm more predictable.

02

Hard-to-read safety

Interlocks and safety states must be understandable in the HMI and during maintenance.

03

Risky revamping

Migrating an existing machine requires field knowledge, tests before the downtime and updated documentation.

04

Insufficient diagnostics

A useful alarm has to point to the module, phase, signal or condition preventing the restart.

From field to data

One single flow between machine, panel, software and testing.

D&D starts from the real machine: machine side, panel, sensors, actuators and HMI are designed to make operation, fault finding and testing simpler.

Automation designed for those who have to produce, verify and maintain.

The quality of the automation shows when the machine stops: whoever steps in has to immediately understand what is missing and why.

D&D method

First understand the process, then write the software.

On metalworking machines you don't need a generic solution. You need a technical reading of constraints, signals, downtime, operators and real goals.

Technical constraints and production goal

We collect documentation, plant status, recurring problems and the expected result.

B
Design

Consistent electrical and software

Panel, PLC, HMI and supervision are designed as one operating system.

C

The final step is making the solution usable by operators and maintenance.

Operational questions

Quick answers before the first technical discussion.

Can you work on machines you didn't design?

Yes, if documentation, a field survey and access to the panel make it possible to reconstruct the real state of the machine.

How do you handle safety and cycle times together?

We don't treat them as separate worlds: states, interlocks and enables must be clear in the HMI and consistent with the production sequence.

Is step-by-step revamping possible?

Often yes. We separate immediate issues, necessary migrations and later improvements, so the downtime can be planned better.

What data is needed to assess an intervention?

Electrical schematics, PLC/HMI, panel photos, cycle description, a list of problems, existing safety and production-downtime constraints.

Technical contact

Tell us about your metalworking plant.

You don't need a complete specification. The sector, machine or line, goal and main constraints are enough: your request reaches the D&D technical team already in context.

  • An initial technical read of the request.
  • Request sent with the sector and source page.
  • Reply within 1–2 business days when the data is sufficient.
